Well time is quickly approaching for the Gathering On The Mattaponi. The stages are finished, lunch is set and just waiting on the date and warmer weather.
Attached is the application. If you haven’t received a confirmation email, then we don’t have your application. Please complete the application and send in as soon as you can. Then I can begin working on the posses.

It was a bit chilly today, no lie-I was COLD. Thanks to all of those that came today, helped with set up and tear down. We had several spectators today and hope to see them again.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ripsaw which was our Overall Match Winner today. Congrats to Ripsaw, Major B. S. Walker, Tesla Range and Sassy for shooting CAD.
Next weekend we will be shooting at Pungo on Saturday and Cavalier on Sunday. Hope everyone had a good time today. See y’all soon.

The Mattaponi Sundowners will be having a match this Saturday. You will notice the date is January but to explain this match didn’t get shot because of weather.
The gates will open at 0800, safety meeting at 0930 and shooting starts at 1000. The weather Saturday is showing highs in the mid 40’s, so dress warm

Well the first 3 stages were ok but boy it sure got cold on the last 3 stages. At least that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. It was nice to have the 2 Major’s and Flatboat back with us today. We heard that the fire dept was at Quilla’s house this morning and we hope that all is well and a false alarm.
Congrats to Dakota Rambler as the Overall Match winner. Congrats To Flatboat Bob, Major B. S. Walker, One Eyed Jane, Poney Racer, Potter County Kid, Ripsaw and Tom Mix for shooting CAD.
