The principle range at the West Point Gun Club is an 100 yard range with about 70 feet of covered shooting positions. From the 100 yard firing line shooters may use both rifle and pistol caliber firearms, with a few exceptions. Targets may be placed at any distance within the 100 yard range, with both portable and fixed target positions provided by the range.
At the end of the 100 yard range, the rear berm area is divided into 3 shooting bays, separated by NRA walls. These bays allow shooters to engage in separate and independent shooting activities. The shooting bays may not be used, while the 100 yard range is in operation and respectively the 100 yard range may not be used while the shooting bays are in operation. The 100 yard range has priority, the only exceptions are approved by the Executive Committee.
The range does not have electricity, water nor sewer. Restroom facilities are provided by portable toilets.
