Mattaponi Sundowners: Christmas plans

Howdy All Cowboys and Cowgirls,

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, had plenty of great foods and recovered from over eating.

We just wanted to put a bug into everyone’s ear about our Christmas plans.  We plan on having our Christmas match on Dec. 19 with dinner afterwards at Nick’s .  We plan on having a Chinese gift exchange of a Cowboy related item. Keep the price near $25. If you want to come to the dinner but not participate in the gift exchange, that is fine. If you would like to come to the dinner and gift exchange and not shoot, that is ok to.

Nick’s has been good to us and we would like to treat them well also especially since a place for s Christmas parties is at a premium. I would like to get a head count especially of those that don’t plan on being at the match. If you plan on coming to dinner but not shoot, please send me an email informing me of this.

There is also a match with us before the Christmas match, on Dec. 11.

Mattaponi Sundowners: Shoot For A Cure

Howdy All,

I just wanted to tell y’all all how amazingly awesome y’all are.

The final total for Shoot For A Cure was $19,029.

Y’all far exceeded my moto of “Just $1 more”.

This is a great testament to how loving and caring the Cowboy and Cowgirl family is.  I do hold each of you dear to my heart.

I can’t thank everyone enough but a very large Thank You goes to Inita Shoot and Wistful for all of the shirt sales for the past 2 years, giving us over $6000 in  sales. Thank you to everyone that worked, donated items and gave from their hearts.

THANK YOU AND LOVE EACH OF YOU!!

Sassy

Mattaponi Sundowners results

Howdy All,

The weatherman didn’t lie when he said it would get windy but we didn’t need fans and you would have been disappointed shooting smoke today.

Congrats to Cody Maverick as Overall Match winner and congrats to Flatboat Bob and Kid At Heart for shooting CAD. Remember Potter saying we wouldn’t see stage 1 again? He might be rethinking that decision since he finished first on that stage.

Remember to keep Momma Bear, Beatooth, Marshal P. C. Wabash, Cockroach and Goosefoot in your prayers. We truly hope that all has a speedy recovery.

Next week K. C. Corral will be shooting on Saturday and Mattaponi will be shooting on Sunday. Mattaponi is NOT be having a match the 4th Saturday.

Hope to see y’all next weekend.

WPGC Rimfire Steel Match Results for 03 NOV

Hello Shooters!

We had a great day shooting.  I was very pleased with the turnout; we saw some new faces and a few we hadn’t seen in a while.  It was nice and sunny, if not a little cold.  But everyone seemed to have a good time.

So here are the scores.  Congrats to Prairie City Slim, Cody Maverick, and Paul Michelet, leaders in the Cowboy, Limited, and Open Divisions, respectively.

See you all on 01 DEC, our next match….if it’s not too cold!
