WPGC Rimfire Match Scores for July 5th

Howdy,

First and foremost a BIG thanks to Bobby aka Kidd at Heart for bringing a generator. Also, thanks to Paul for the small fan on the shooting table. I don’t think we would have lasted all six stages without these.

Thanks to Leo aka Shinbone and Bobby for running the clock. That was a big help to me. Thanks to all who helped with set up and teardown as well as moving props and tents and painting. Another big help to me.

All and all I thought the match went well with everyone working. It was nice to have more than one spotter today!

Now for the really important stuff.

Congratulations to Fred as the overall winner and Open category winner.
Congratulations to Mikie aka Vaquero Gambler winner of the Limited category.
I guess we need to congratulate Bobby for his stellar performance in the Cowboy category.

Welcome to Shane a new to us shooter.

Thanks again for all the help!!!!

Asher aka Slim

Mattaponi Sundowners: Smoke Video

Cowboy Video fans,

Some videos of the Smoke on the Mattaponi match are on YouTube, and more are on the way.
Look for Marshal PC Wabash for Posse 2 videos.  He has stages 5, 6, and 1 posted and stages 2, 3, and 4 will be coming soon.
Bingo Montana did some video for Posse 1.  Don’t know if they are posted or not.  If not, keep checking.
Thanks to everyone again for a safe, fun match and all the help that made it happen.

Mattaponi Sundowners: Sunday Match Results

Howdy to all you Cowpokes, and

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads, Grand-Dads, & Great-Grand-Dads,

It was a clear sunny day, real nice for today’s match except for the humidity.  The air was still for the first 3 stages but a slight breeze helped us out on the last 3.  There were 16 of us trying to stay in the shade under the canvas.

Congratulations to Dakota Rambler for winning the match and to the two clean shooters – One Eyed Jane and yours truly (Swifty McDraw).

The network is acting up, so I do not have scores ready to send.

The first five finishers were:
Dakota Rambler, Ripsaw, Cody Maverick, Major BS Walker, & Flatboat Bob
The next five (6-10) were:
Kuba Kid, Potter County Kid, Buzzard Bayne, Swifty McDraw, & Wistful McClintock
The next six (11-16) were:
One Eyed Rooster, Kidd At Heart, Atchison Kid, Shinbone, Prairie City Slim, & One Eyed Jane

WPGC Double Action: DA Match Results

It was a lovely day but we had too few shooters to hold the match. We did have one guest and myself who stayed and shot the paper silhouette. See you next month.
