WPGC Double Action Match, Thursday Sep 14, 2023

West Point Gun Club will hold the monthly DA match this Thursday. Gates will open at 8:30 and the match will begin at 10:00.
 
There will be: 
6 stages of Main frame revolver with a J-frame included in one stage.
1 stage of J-frame only
1 stage of 1911
 
Please RSVP if you PLAN TO ATTEND. We will need at least 5 people to attend to hold the match. 
 
I will send a follow up email on Wednesday evening between 5 and 7 and let everyone know the results. 
 
Weather forecast is sunny and 70’s.

WPGC Range Logging Operations

The logging operation at the range is supposed to start tomorrow (Friday September 08). This should not impact range use and will probably take about two weeks depending on weather conditions and equipment breakdowns. Please be mindful of trucks and logging equipment and be careful entering and existing the property. I would rather not close the range for this, but if we have to we will.

West Point Gun Club Rimfire Match will be held on Wed, Sept 6

The West Point Gun Club will be having its Rimfire Steel Match on Sept 6. the gates will open at 8:00 AM. with signup and setup starting at 9:00AM. We will be having a meeting at 9:45 Am and shooting will start at 10:00 AM. 
 
It is forcast to be in the mid 90’s before we finish shooting. We will put up tents, not sure about fans, Bring Cold water or sports dpinks
